A confirmation statement is an annual filing that confirms your company’s details on the Companies House public register are up to date — directors, shareholders, registered office, share capital, and the nature of your business (SIC codes). Every UK limited company must file at least one per 12-month period. It does not report financial performance — that is your annual accounts — but failing to file it can result in Companies House initiating strike-off proceedings against the company.
How much does confirmation statement filing cost and what is included?
