Sound familiar?
Ecommerce income is messy. Tax does not have to be.
Marketplace payouts arrive in lumps that do not match your actual sales. Platform fees, refunds, and currency conversions make reconciliation genuinely awkward. VAT rules for online retail have their own quirks. Most generalist accountants want you to explain how it all works before they give you a useful answer. That is the wrong way round.
- Hours lost reconciling platform payouts against your bank statements
- No clear picture of what you owe in tax until it is almost due
- VAT threshold crept up without anyone flagging it in time
What sorted looks like
Your books are current, your tax position is visible well in advance, and someone already understands how your platform pays out before you have to explain it. That is what working with an accountant who knows ecommerce actually feels like.
- Platform income reconciled accurately each month, no year-end scramble
- Tax bill calculated and communicated months before the deadline
- VAT threshold monitored proactively so registration is never a surprise
- Fixed monthly fee so you know exactly what accounting costs

Everything your ecommerce business needs
From day-to-day bookkeeping to annual accounts, VAT, and tax planning — all in one fixed monthly fee with no surprises.
Ecommerce Bookkeeping and Accounts
Your platform income, fees, refunds, and expenses are reconciled each month so your books reflect what your business actually did. Year-end accounts are prepared from clean, current records — not a pile of statements pulled together at the last minute. Cloud accounting tools such as Xero or QuickBooks Online are set up to handle the way marketplace income arrives.
Included as standardVAT Returns and MTD Compliance
Your VAT threshold is monitored throughout the year so registration is never a surprise. Returns are prepared accurately and filed on time under Making Tax Digital requirements. If your sales span multiple platforms or include overseas customers, the right VAT treatment is applied without you needing to work out the rules yourself.
Filed on time, every timeTax Planning and Self Assessment
Your tax position is calculated well before the deadline so you know what to set aside and when. Self Assessment returns for sole traders, or Corporation Tax and CT600 filing for limited companies, are handled in full. Where there is a genuine opportunity to reduce your tax bill through legitimate planning, you will hear about it before the year closes — not after.
No last-minute surprisesConsistent results across different businesses
Six verified Google reviews, all five stars. Clients range from new sole traders to established limited companies across Greater Manchester and the UK.

Why ecommerce sellers work with us
There are plenty of accountants. Here is what makes the difference in practice.
No explaining how platforms work
FBA fees, referral charges, settlement reports, Shopify payouts — you will not spend the first call walking your accountant through how your platform pays out. That knowledge is already there. It means you get useful answers quickly, not a general response dressed up as ecommerce advice.
Your tax bill known in advance
Proactive support throughout the year means your tax position is calculated and communicated well before the deadline. There are no unexpected bills arriving in January because no one looked at the numbers until December. You know what to set aside, and when.
Questions answered the day you ask
Clients reach Hasan by phone, email, or WhatsApp and get a same-day response. That matters when a tax query comes up mid-launch, a VAT notice arrives, or you are about to make a decision that has a tax implication. Fast answers prevent small issues becoming expensive ones.
Up and running in four steps
The process is straightforward. Most clients are set up and working within a week of the initial conversation.

Free initial conversation
Hasan will ask about your business, your platforms, and how your accounts currently stand. You will get a clear picture of what needs doing, what it will cost, and exactly how the service works. No jargon, no sales pitch.
We handle the transition
If you are switching from another accountant, the handover is managed with minimal involvement from you. If your books need catching up, that is scoped and agreed upfront. Cloud accounting software is set up to suit how your ecommerce income arrives.
Your books are in order
From that point forward, your accounts are current, your tax position is visible, and someone who understands your business is monitoring things throughout the year. Less to think about, and no surprises come January.
“Excellent service! Hasan took over and sorted out my accounts with a swift and hassle free service. I would highly recommend for your accounting needs.”
Things ecommerce sellers usually ask
Do you actually understand how marketplace and platform income works, or will I need to explain it?
Ecommerce accounting is a core part of what we do. That includes reconciling Amazon settlement reports against FBA fees and referral charges, handling Shopify payouts, dealing with multi-currency transactions, and applying the correct VAT treatment to different sales channels. You will not need to provide a primer on how your platform pays out before getting a useful answer.
What does it cost and what is included in the monthly fee?
Fees are fixed and agreed upfront based on the size and complexity of your business. There are no hourly charges, no unexpected invoices, and no extra bill for asking a question during the year. The fee typically covers bookkeeping, VAT returns, year-end accounts, Corporation Tax or Self Assessment, and ongoing support. You will know the exact figure before committing to anything.
My books are behind and I am not sure where things stand. Can you still help?
Yes, and this is a fairly common starting point. The first step is understanding how far behind things are and what needs to be done to bring them current. Catch-up work is scoped and priced separately from the ongoing monthly service, so you know exactly what it will cost before any work begins. Once the books are clean, we move onto the regular monthly routine.
Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?
There is no lock-in. If the arrangement is not working for you, you can give notice and leave. Your records are yours and will be returned in full. The aim is to provide a service worth staying for, not one you are contractually obliged to remain in.
I sell across multiple platforms and some sales are to overseas customers. Can you handle the VAT correctly?
Yes. Cross-border VAT for ecommerce — including the UK’s distance selling rules, the OSS scheme for EU sales, and marketplace facilitator rules — is part of what we deal with for online retail clients. The correct treatment is applied based on where your customers are and which platforms you sell through, without you needing to work out the rules yourself.
How far in advance will I know what my tax bill is going to be?
For most clients, we produce a tax estimate well before the filing deadline — typically several months in advance rather than weeks. That gives you time to set the money aside or, where there is a planning opportunity, to take action before the year closes. The goal is that a tax bill is never a surprise, just a number you have been expecting.
Less time on tax, more on selling.
