Sound familiar?
Another annual deadline you nearly forgot about.
The confirmation statement is not complicated, but it is easy to lose track of when it is due. Miss the filing window and Companies House can move to strike off your company — even if the business is trading perfectly well. Most directors only think about it when a reminder lands in their inbox, by which point the deadline is uncomfortably close.
- Confirmation statement deadline crept up with no warning or reminder
- Not sure whether your company details on Companies House are still accurate
- Another compliance task competing for time you do not have

- Company record reviewed for accuracy before every submission
- Filing handled without requiring your time or attention to the process
- Fixed annual fee, no surprises, no last-minute panic

Why Manchester companies choose us for company secretarial
Competence is the baseline. These are the things that make the working relationship straightforward.
Your Deadline Tracked for You
Confirmation statements fall due every 12 months from your company’s incorporation date or last filing. We monitor that date and contact you ahead of time — you are not expected to remember it. The filing is submitted before the window closes, not in the final hours.
Accuracy Before Every Submission
A confirmation statement is a declaration that your company’s public record is correct. We review your Companies House entry before filing, not after. If something needs updating — a director change, a new shareholder, a corrected SIC code — it is handled as part of the process.
Plain-English Answers the Same Day
Questions about what the statement covers, whether a change needs notifying to Companies House, or what happens if a detail is wrong — these get a straight answer, the day you ask. No queuing behind a ticket system.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
Most clients are set up and have their first filing underway within a matter of days. The process requires very little from you.
Get in touch — no pressure

We confirm your details
We check your Companies House record, confirm your next confirmation statement due date, and identify anything that needs updating before the filing is made. You do not need to dig out paperwork — we work from what is already on the public register.
You confirm, we file
We prepare the confirmation statement and send you a brief summary of what is being submitted. You confirm it is correct — or tell us what has changed — and we file it with Companies House on your behalf. The Companies House fee is included or invoiced clearly.
One annual task handled
After filing, the next due date goes into our diary. You will receive a reminder well in advance of the following year’s deadline and the process repeats without you needing to track it. One less annual obligation to think about, handled reliably.

Straightforward answers to common questions
What exactly is a confirmation statement and what does it cover?
A confirmation statement is a filing made to Companies House at least once every 12 months confirming that your company’s registered details are accurate and up to date. It covers your registered office address, directors, shareholders, share capital, SIC codes, and your statement of capital. It is not a financial document — it does not include accounts — but it is a legal requirement for every active limited company. Missing it can lead to Companies House initiating strike-off proceedings.
What does it cost and what is included in the fee?
We charge a fixed annual fee for the confirmation statement service, which covers our preparation time, the record review, and the filing itself. The Companies House filing fee (currently £34 for online submission) is charged separately and at cost. We will confirm the total before any work begins — no unexpected additions after the fact.
My company details on Companies House are out of date. Can you sort that before filing?
Yes — and this is fairly common. Before we file the confirmation statement, we review your Companies House record and identify anything that needs correcting or updating. Changes to directors, registered office, shareholders, or share capital each require their own form before the confirmation statement can be submitted accurately. We handle those updates as part of the process and flag the cost if additional filings are needed.
Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term contract. Most clients stay because the service works, not because they are locked in. If you engage us solely for the confirmation statement, you pay for that year’s filing. If you decide to move elsewhere before the next one is due, your records and filing history are yours and we will hand everything over cleanly.
What happens if I miss my confirmation statement deadline?
If the statement is overdue, Companies House will typically send a warning and then begin strike-off proceedings if the company remains non-compliant. The company can be restored, but that involves additional cost and paperwork. Filing late is still possible and preferable to not filing at all. If you are already past your due date when you contact us, we can file promptly to bring the record back into compliance.
